It was a sunday! Our itinery for this day was to go Victoria Market in the morning, horse riding at mornington peninsula and then dinner at BC's friend, Matthew,'s place.
Sunday is known to be the best day to shop @ Victoria Market. Sunday is the busiest day at Victoria Market so all the shops are open! To me, Victoria Market is like a major huge pasar malam! It has almost everything there! The market is divided into sections; clothes & souveniers, wet market and then fruits & vegetable. The place to shop for souveniers and goodies to bring back home!
I bought loads of nuts & dried fruits for my mummy! We also bought our souveniers for our friends!
Churros stall! O so yummy!
Freshly made donuts with jam fillings inside! I din fancy it that much though. N you have to buy like 6. We ate 2 and threw the rest away. We were filled from breakfast and it got cold pretty fast because of the weather. Doesnt taste nice cold.
A part of Vic Market
It tooks us about 2 hours to reach Mornington Peninsula. We got a bit lost searching for the horse riding place. However, when we finally reached there, we were informed our horseriding session was to be cancelled. This was due to the horse flu that was spreading around Victoria. Al horses throughout aussie were required to be quarantined. Boo hoo! This means we had to replan 2 hours of our itinery which we have set aside specially for this.
We decided to go to a nearby strawberry farm. However, there was no picking of strawberries as it was still winter so we settled for some dessert.
Nice view @ Arthur Seat
BC took this.
Next stop! Enchanted Maze Garden. We had some fun with the maze and kids puzzles.
the maze that killed me
