Easter weekend...

Happy Easter to all!
Its bright and cheery easter morning!!
Weee!!
Finally we get to sing happy easter songs! The past few weeks has been solemn cause it was Lent Period.

It has been a self indulgence enjoyable weekend so far!!

Loads of shopping... buying... eating and fun!!

Horrible day at work it was on thursday. Glad that I had class at the end of the day to forget the shitty nite. Ended the nite relaxingly by watchin dvd and playing PSP! Had hot and crispy french fries too! Sometimes you jus crave for Macs even though its like everywhere and you can have it like anytime.

Friday was started off with church. The church was crazily packed! I got chased out during communion. haha! that was because I was one of the many parisherners blocking the aisles. Bo bianz. No space to stand. But it was a good feeling to see so many in church.

The rest of the day was shopping and to JB we went for dinner! yes! went back for the yummy stingray!! i got myself a cheap new top! BC got himself an even cheaper berms! steal!

Ydae was another shopping and eating session. We got a little extra cash from some place to buy ourselves more things! Hehe! I think we are too spendthrift!! Had dinner at vivocity with little natalie!!

N my uncle is treating dinner to nite! *faint*
Putting on weight... :(

N today...Dad just got me a set of drivers from cash convertors!! haha! I was complaining that I have no drivers so he told me he will go cash convertors and have a look! and weee!! There it was! a decent set! he said I was lucky!! haha! Pretty and light!! like it!

I wish monday never comes.... *Dread*

Japanese Snack

BC showed me an interesting thing yesterday! A colleagues of his went to Japan for holiday and got this for everyone.

IMG_6969
Looks like a cute plastic wrapped japanese doll, doesnt it?! So pretty! But it is not! It is actually a snack! How kewl is that?!

IMG_6972
This is how the snack looks like when unwrapped! It is actually 2 type of crackers wrapped into one. The round one is some peanut thingy and the long one is some "ke ro pok" like thingy. So the round one acts like the head of the doll and the long one, the body.

IMG_6974
The wrapper! Jap pple are really creative and puts great pride into packaging. dun you think?

It was a pity that the snack wasnt really that yummy. Heard that it was pretty exp too.

My absolutely sweet birthday pressie!

Received an absolutely sweet pressie on Thursday from BC's colleague, cynthia! It is a tissue packet holder!! Whats so special about a tissue packet holder? Well... its because its a cross-stitched hand made tissue packet holder!!

Honestly, throughout my 25 years of life, i doubt I have ever completed any cross-stitch of any type. Perhaps only that small christmas tree round wooded frame when I was still in primary sch. I never had that patience. Morever, I am a real untidy person. Its either my stiching looks really messy or the cloth is already dirtied by me before I am even haf way through it. I am such a useless lazy bum! haha!

Was really surprised when she handed me the gift. When she mentioned she had a pressie for me, I thot it was just a normal pressie. But when I saw the cross-stiched tissue packet holder, I was like "wow". A gift that required loads of time, effort and patience. She mentioned that she has been sewing everyday since 1 month back and that she was unable to hand it to me before my birthday because she was too caught up with work during that time. So touched!! Haha!

So sweet of her to do such a sweet thing for me when I only got to know her recently.
Thank you so much Onion Head 2!
Appreciate the gift loads!
Now I must learn how to take good care of it and not dirtee it. O no! Wat a hard task for some1 like me!

IMG_6936
O so adorable, dun you think?

IMG_6937
The back! Or perhaps the front? *confused* its the place where you get the tissue from! Haha!

Quarter of a Century celebration.

Yes! I am 25 this year! Officially a quarter of a century old! O geez! Sounds really old! Dammit! However, sad (or perhaps happy) that i still feel and act like a young gal! haha! N i sure do hope that I look younger than my age too! keke!

Celebrated my special day with my closest frens and BC. We are all turning 25 this year but I am the first. How sad to be the oldest of the lot. Haha!

Thanks yx for helping to organise the celebration for me. She started making arrangments 2 weeks before my special day. She suggested timbre near substation cause I wanted some place new and her sister had recommended that the food was pretty nice and the price was reasonable.

Timbre has this like open air concept. Which means to expect fallen leaves, heat and mosquitoes. Haha! its is also pretty hard to locate(when driving) as it pretty deep in from the main road. N there was to be a live band at that starts at 10pm which will make the place nice to dine and lay back after dinner.

However, the group of us were pretty eager to get out of the place once we completed our dinner and cake. It was because we were feeling a warm and itchy. Hehe. we are getting spoilt

We decided to head down to Meritus Mandarin's Observatory Lounge instead to sit down and have some drinks. It was a good decision as it started to rain when we were on the way to the hotel!

We had a good chat at the lounge. 1 of our fwen is getting married and was discussing with us her wedding plans. It will be like the first wedding in our group so we were all pretty excited of the chance of being "jie meis" and of cos, we are really happy for her.

After the Lounge, a few of us sand KTV till 3 am. How tiring. Haha! But I had great fun singing that nite!

Overall, it was a simple celebration. But I am really glad I got to spend it with my fwens. So sad 2 of our fwens could not make it for the celebration.
