Orange shortbread

BC had a craving of danish butter cookies one time and suggested that I should learn how to make those. It was one of the rare occasions that he requested for cookies, he is not a sweet-tooth kind person.

On Monday, I came home relatively early, completed my work that day. I haven been baking ever since work started. About time to heat up that oven again. Searched a cookie book and realise the nearest thing to butter cookie was the Orange Shortbread and it looks super easy to make. N it was.

If u r wondering why there are holes in the finished product, this is because i only remembered to poke the holes in the dough after taking the pic. If you noticed, the bad cookies are a bit burnt. This is because these cookies were too thin, rolled too thinly... ha!!

The end product was decent and not so sweet. But i think its time to search for the right recipe and make a proper butter cookies for him.
