HK cum China trip- part 2!

Day 2- Woke up early to have breakfast at the hut "restaurent". Had chee cheong fun, carrot cake(again!), corn soup (which i heard raves abt), fried beehoon and veggies. Hearty breakfast! Then its pack pack pack! BAck to HK!

Had tea on the ferry. Their ferry is so cute. Its the 1 we see on tv kind. It has a little cafe at the end of the ferry. The cafe sells hot drinks, instant mee (i jus realise i din try the instant mee dish in HK cafe! Sad!) and snacks. QUite cute! As the ferry was approaching back to HK, i had a view of HK island. HK is like divided to different islands. I haven have a chance to get a real map of HK to realise where each place is situated. It feels so hollywood like for me to be in HK. Its like everything i used to see on dramas i am able to see them in real life now! I even asked Thjie where's the area facing the sea where all the broken hearts go in the dramas! keke!

We went to a Macau cafe for lunch. The "cha chan ting" as it is called in HK was packed and we had to queue for our turn with all our luggage. We had pork chop bun(yummy!), Portugese egg tart! (yum yum), Roast "ke zi" ( wat bird is that in english?, no meat but i like!), some farnie curry thingy, veggies and the yummiest of all! the pork knuckle! MMMmmm! I had yuan yang too! Nice! The price of food there is like us going to crystal jade kitchen. Ex hor? We then headed to check in our "burdens" into the hotel. It was a short rest for us in the hotel. We cant afford to rest. It was nearly 3! N we were to have dinner with Patrick and Kimmy (Gary's brother and sis in law) at ard 7 odd.

We went to walk at "Hua Yuan Jie" near Gary's hse and our hotel. My gawd! The crowd was scary! Lucky the weather was cool coz i was already feeling kinda warm in the crowd already! It was like a big big pasar malam. Juju, BC's cuzzie, who was there earlier with Th, Gary and Nat know this area very well. They sae she shopped here everyday she was there! haha! Independant gal! So she kinda know all the prices there and know wat she wants! I bought 2 bags from there, Bc's mum bought a few clothings too. BC's dad was the happiest. He went to stroll ard on his own and seems to have eaten a lot of things! haha! Ohh! I tried the "Xui Liu Xiang" in HK. I soon realise it was in every corner of HK! I oso had my "yu dan"! The spicy 1 really quite spicy. The "hong dou gao" was not bad too! MMmm!

Went back to hotel to dump all our things and head to Gary's hse to set off for dinner together! The street where gary live had a really farnie name "Sai Yeong Choi street" haha! that's like a veggie name! i soon realise loads of other farnie street names! We had some yummy steamboat for dinner! BC loves the farnie sauce he concocted with all the sauce ingredients provided there ( they have all types of ingredients for sauce!) He is still dreaming of it now! haha! After dinner, we went to tour the nearby streets! I think we were at Tsim shai Tsuang. Ok... first time i din noe where i was going. We were following yvonne, Gary's sister who was so nice to bring us ard even though she was sick. Later in the nite, we went to walk to " xing guang da dao" to admire the magnificient scenary of HK nite view. Beautiful! Took a few photos. But the place was blardy crowded again! Seems like there was some show going on and the rest of the nite we were squeezing thru the human jam. Took bus to some farnie street(i m lost, rem?) to do some more shopping. This street had more interesting stuff than the previous. I had smelly toufu! keke!

For supper, we had wonderful dessert at TH's fav dessert stall! We had 2 pudding ( 1 chocolate and 1 plain), some mango kway teow tingy (my fav), some red bean wrap thingy, some black glutinous mango wrap thingy, some coconut desert n i cant rem wat else. Sinful indulgence! N that ends our second day.

Day 3- Woke up early to go shop Hua yuen Jie with BC. Bought some accessories. Went seperate ways with the older pple.. keke! Nice yvonne brought us ard again! Thankz so much babe! We went causeway bay which had all the shopping centre and the major shop! We then took a bus back to hua yuan jie for some final shopping. Had a little sushi before we start rushing off back to the airport.

Kind Gary bought roast goose, char shao and seow ba for greedy us to eat on our plane ride back!

Feelings during this trip: My heartfelt thankz to Gary's family for giving us such a wonderful time in HK. They took care of every small details. They like spent so much time and marnee on us. I know its because they are relatives so i feel like a free loader which i think i really am 1. Oppz!

Gary's dad looked so tired during those few days i was there. Thanks yvonne for taking time out to take us ard. Hope she have gotten better already!

HK gals are really pretty and fashionable! I love them in their boots! I wish singapore have cold weather then i can own 1 too! :)! I love the way every1 spoke in cantonese, its such a gentle and nice language! I wish to have a chance to go back there again and hopefully a longer trip, next time round. I oso wanna go back in summer so that i can shop shop loads! I oso wanna eat loads loads more too! I had a stopid sore in my tongue this time and made eating such a chore for me! :(!

Oh yes! Gary's parents were so sweet to buy medicine for me too!! I m such a terrible and troublesome kid! keke!
